My name is Stacey, I have been a veterinary technician for 17 years. My passion for animals all started back when I was a little kid being raised on a ranch. My parents would give me baby goats and puppies to cuddle and bottle feed, where most little girls got Barbies and baby dolls to play with I got baby animals.I can still remember when one of our momma goats died during delivery of quintuplets and my mom told me I had to take these baby goats to bed with me and cuddle, feed them, and keep them warm. That was just the being of my passion for nurturing and making sure every animal has its best possibility of survival. After we moved off the ranch I still managed to continue my love and passion for nurturing babies As a teenager I volunteered at the local animal shelter. Every emergency clinic and shelter in the area would call me for help when they received abandoned baby kittens and puppies that needed to be bottle-fed. After High School, I attended Austin Community College and became a certified Veterinary Technician and started my career. I got a job at the young age of 15 working in my first animal hospital as a kennel tech then moving up very quickly to a tech and then the lead tech, and I am now the Assistant Practice Manager at a multiple doctor animal hospital. The hospital I am at specializes in reproduction, We do progesterone testing, Vaginal artificial insemination, Transcervical Insemination, Surgical Insemination, Pregnancy Ultrasound, x-ray, C-sections, and more and I have been specially trained in neonatal care. I love educating clients about how to care for their pets in the best way possible. Every pet that comes under my care I treat as if they were my own and belonged to my family.
